-update on Cookbook
Jill is 95% finished gathering "existing material" and editing
it into the cookbook TOC.  Within 2-3 days Jason will announce that he's
completed updating the website with this new information.  At this point
we will ask everyone to read over what we've got; evaluate what is
missing, needs to be re-worked etc, and then prioritize with items we
want to finish by the I2 meeting.  Suggestions made by Samir include:
(a) can a campus administrator find what components he needs to install
and what he needs to do?  (b) does the cookbook cover some pro's and
con's of opensource vs. off-the-shelf?

-update on CGU client
CGU will be ready to demonstrate the following at the Internet2
meeting: using enterprise authentication, obtain videoconferencing
password that is then transparently sent to the proxy in DigestMD5
format.  In addition, they have made the white pages lookup more
attractive and functional.  Finally, they will implement "click to
call".

-update on RADVISION client
Roy Muchtar, who we met with in March, will represent RADVISION
for our joint presentations during the I2 meeting.  An update on the
status of the endpoint, implementation guide, and distribution of
H.350-compliant ECS is needed.

-update on Directory of Directories
        * sriad's rework of java application: in progress; he has a
little more work to do and will post the new URL in a couple of days.
        *  In answer to Egon's question, Jason has posted the URL for
information about the LDAP servers participating in the testbed.
        *  Need a web page with information about how to register your
H>350 and enterprise LDAP servers so they can be globally searchable.

-update on glossy brochure
Have spoken with Christine Perey who is an independent
consultant very familiar with the multimedia industry and press.  She
will write a "what is H.350" that is aimed at the commercial multimedia
community, and suggest diagrams that they will find meaningful.  Jill
will replicate the general approach for a parallal handout aimed at
universities.  The vnet list will have an opportunity to comment on
handouts; jill's staff will do layout and printing.  Goal is to have
them done in time for I2 meeting.  These will be ViDeNet publications,
unless someone wants to suggest an alternative approach.
Perhaps our glossy brochure should have information about how to
register your enterprise and H.350 LDAP servers so that you will show up
in either of our DoD search engines?

-update on face to face meeting arrangements.
Jill now understands everyone's situation and will post best
schedule tomorrow.

-how to distribute CGU and RADVISION clients
CGU has some final paperwork to do to finish their I2
application.  We need to have a plan to distribute the demo H.323
endpoints.  After we demonstrate this at the I2 meeting, people will
want to know how to get it.  Suggestions?

-publications - still looking for publication suitable for an academic
article from us.  Jill will look around.  Christine Perey will contact
Network World on our behalf about doing a "Tech Update" article.  Jill
will follow up on some other leads.

These topics were postponed until next week:
-review I2 panels/presentations/posters (slides needed? Who's presenting
what?)
-discuss CGU use of H.350 enabled SIP proxy
